Lilee Systems, a provider of advanced communication systems designed for the railroad industry, announced that its TransAir PTC-3004 radio has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC) for authorized use throughout the United States and Canada. Designed to facilitate fast roaming for seamless wireless connections, the Lilee Systems TransAir suite of products delivers an end-to-end Positive Train Control (PTC) communication system to achieve the highest level of security for connecting critical control stations for complete rail communications safety.

The FCC certification for the TransAir PTC-3004 non-broadcast station transmitter was assigned on September 15, 2012. The IC certification for the TransAir PTC-3004 was assigned on October 2, 2012. The unit has been qualified for both mobile and fixed use throughout the United States and Canada.
The recent FCC and IC certifications are the latest in a series of certifications for the Lilee Systems advanced communication systems. The company has also recently earned ISO 9001:2008 initial certification and China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) certification for its radio communication solutions.
