The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) released a new Ride CATS mobile app. The app provides customers with real-time arrival information through GPS technology located on all buses and trains.
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) released a new Ride CATS mobile app. The app provides customers with real-time arrival information through GPS technology located on all buses and trains.
Through the app, customers have the ability to view real-time information for near-by route stops, save most frequently used stops for quick access, and can set alerts to be notified when a preferred bus or train is nearing their stop. Additionally, riders can conduct trip planning though Google Trip Planner.
"We are excited to provide our customers with greater system reliability through the launch of our new Ride CATS app," said CATS CEO John Lewis. "New and experienced riders can now have up-to-the-minute transit information in the palm of their hand."
