Service Provider for the Link Transit Fixed Route & Paratransit System
The City of Burlington is requesting proposals (RFP) for the operation of the Link Transit Fixed Route & Paratransit system in the Burlington-Graham Urbanized Area of North Carolina. The selected Service Provider shall provide the personnel, maintenance, materials, supplies, training, and superintendence necessary for safe, courteous, and reliable transportation of passengers. The selected Service Provider will be solely responsible for maintenance of the City-provided fleet of up to 12 vehicles. The selected Service Provider shall provide a maintenance facility and if requested, additional vehicles to support expanded operations in the future until the City can provide vehicles. The term of the contract is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028 with two, one year options continuing to June 30, 2030.
All proposals are due to the City of Burlington Purchasing Division, 237 West Maple Ave Burlington, NC 27215, no later than Friday, January 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). The RFP will be available starting on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
